    #Depression/Anxiety Assessment

Depression and anxiety can affect children and adolescents similarly to adults, but they may present differently due to developmental stages.

Symptoms of depression in young individuals may include persistent sadness, irritability, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, and withdrawal from social activities.

Anxiety disorders can manifest as excessive worry, fearfulness, difficulty concentrating, and physical symptoms such as stomachaches or headaches.

Our center employs a comprehensive assessment process designed specifically for children and adolescents. Skilled clinicians conduct interviews with both the child and their caregivers to gather information about symptoms, emotional challenges, and any contributing factors. We utilize age-appropriate assessment scales such as the Children’s Depression Inventory (CDI) and the Screen for Child Anxiety Related Disorders (SCARED) to evaluate the severity of symptoms and track progress over time.

    #IQ Testing

IQ testing, or Intelligence Quotient testing, provides valuable insights into a child’s cognitive strengths and areas that may benefit from additional support. It helps educators, parents, and healthcare professionals understand a child’s learning potential and determine appropriate educational interventions.

Through the use of different assessment scales and tools, like Malin’s Intelligence Scale for Indian Children (MISIC), Bhatia battery test of Intelligence, and Seguin Form Board Test, we offer comprehensive IQ testing services for children and adolescents to assess cognitive abilities, identify strengths, and tailor educational strategies.

    #SLD Assessment

Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) refer to difficulties in acquiring and using academic skills, significantly impacting reading, writing, or math abilities. Common types include dyslexia (reading), dysgraphia (writing), and dyscalculia (mathematics).

Our center employs a comprehensive approach to assess Specific Learning Disabilities like,

Diagnostic Evaluation: Experienced clinicians conduct thorough assessments to identify specific areas of difficulty and their impact on academic performance.

Educational and Developmental History: We gather information about the child’s developmental milestones, educational history, and any previous interventions.

Use of Standardized Tests: We utilize standardized tests and assessment tool to evaluate reading fluency, comprehension, writing skills, mathematical reasoning, and other relevant areas.

    #Autism Assessment

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition characterized by challenges in social communication and interaction, as well as restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities. Symptoms of ASD can vary widely in severity and presentation, affecting each child uniquely.

We provide comprehensive autism assessment services to support early diagnosis by using standardized assessment tools such as Indian Scale for Identification of Autism (ISAA), INDT-ASD, and M-CHAT.

    #ADHD Assessment

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity that can significantly impact academic performance, social interactions, and daily functioning.

Our center utilizes a comprehensive approach to ADHD assessment:

Clinical Evaluation: Experienced clinicians conduct detailed interviews with parents/caregivers and the child to gather information about symptoms, developmental history, and behavior across different settings.

Behavioral Observations: Observations of the child’s behavior in structured and unstructured settings provide insights into attention span, impulsivity, and activity levels.

Use of Rating Scales: We administer validated rating scales, such as the INDT-ADHD, to assess symptom severity and impairment in daily functioning.
